Zoé left us on thursday february 20 th, she went asleep in my arms for her last trip in the stars, we miss her deeply.
She don’t suffer, she died of a fatal kidney desease, it has been very quick. She was about 18 years.
18 years were she shared all our instants, all our trips.
On monday may 21 th 2007, aged of 2 months, I picked her on the stairs of the Môle de l’enfer, brought by Sylvie, in the Port Rhu of Douarnenez. From there she go through the world, on seas and oceans, crossing the Pacific from North to South, from East to West, crossing the Atlantic four times, putting her paws in more than 35 countries, from Northern Europe to Africa and Americas, from Alaska to Cape Horn, sailing 81 143 nautical miles in her long life of sailing cat.
She leave a huge gap in Skøiern, we lose a crew member.
